Snoop’s House

Just when I thought Snoop had nothing more to give, then comes this: Snoop Doggs Father Hood on E. Yes, it looks like just another celebrity with a reality show, but for some reason I am genuinely curious to see this one. I actually can’t think think there is another singer out there short of Madonna, who has been able to maintain a serious fan base, do movies, music, and television, all the while changing up styles along the way a few times. They are very similar in a lot of ways i guess, but I don’t think Snoop will ever try and talk with some ridiculous foreign accent.

I hope this show is able to shed some light on some of the good things that Snoop does in the community, instead of looking like a 8 episode commercial, like the ridiculous Irv Gotti show. Snoop seems like a decent guy these days, and why wouldn’t he be? Premieres this Sunday on E!, right after the season premiere of Girls Next Door, and it looks more like a gangsta west coast version of Rev Run’s show.

My have things changed. I am all for one getting that paper but this video compared to deep cover is mind boggling. Its like he isn’t even the same person, i guess its a credit to how far we all have come because this song is hot. The video is definitely a stretch but I am going to say that its the artist in him and not the rapper who cam up with this idea. I like it, and the more references to Rick James in my life the better… anyways onto the video:
