New Jays are hot… there is a lot to these new sneaks so head over to Darren Rovell to read the full interview, here is a little about them:

The shoe was designed by Chicago native Jason Mayden, not the usual Tinker Hatfield. It features a chassis that’s meant to mimic blown glass, which means that each shoe is technically different in its pattern. The pleats in the shoe are really a nice touch. Shoe designers can learn from the simplicity of this, instead of the hodgepodge garbage we’ve seen of recent. Read more »

Sometimes, you have to face it … Christian Bale is just better … Jeeez, this movie cant get here fast enough. Upon further investigation our Dark Knight has a big 2009, first Terminator Salvation comes out in May, then there is a little crime movie that he is in with Johnny Depp, Billie Crudup, Leelee Sobiesky and Giovani Ribisi, directed by Michael Mann called Public Enemies;  The American Pshycho finishes off the year in a little flick called Killing Pablo, the true story of the chase and assassination of the most notorious drug dealer of all time. He’s a good actor!

Diddy is King

I hope this isn’t really his audition to be the first Black James Bond. Because there are three things that become clear in the six minutes of my life that I will want back when I begin to see the light: One, Diddy is a terrible actor; second is that the girl at the 5:34 mark has made my short list of “models I make it rain on when I get rich;” and third, Sean John really loves himself.

Adidas: The Run

another nice commercial from adidas… this is actually at UCLA and these games are off the hook in the summer time. its like a who’s who of ballers because EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has a crib in LA. Legendary games have cracked off here and legendary things have happened. There is a story of when a high schooler Baron Davis banged on Magic and from that moment on he was a made man. I love how Jordan Farmar likes to display his boosties at all times possible. Cool campaign from Adidas

Could You do it?

blackberryobama

I don’t know what would be the bigger hurdle for me is I was the 44th president of these United States of America, the task of fixing this financial crisis, or having to give up my blackberry, my touch, and my mac. Would you be able to do it? Who knew that American president’s don’t use computers? WTF? I kind of almost have a problem with that. Check out this piece in today’s NY Times:

For all the perquisites and power afforded the president, the chief executive of the United States is essentially deprived by law and by culture of some of the very tools that other chief executives depend on to survive and to thrive. Mr. Obama, however, seems intent on pulling the office at least partly into the 21st century on that score; aides said he hopes to have a laptop computer on his desk in the Oval Office, making him the first American president to do so.
