New Jordans

New Jays are hot… there is a lot to these new sneaks so head over to Darren Rovell to read the full interview, here is a little about them:

The shoe was designed by Chicago native Jason Mayden, not the usual Tinker Hatfield. It features a chassis that’s meant to mimic blown glass, which means that each shoe is technically different in its pattern. The pleats in the shoe are really a nice touch. Shoe designers can learn from the simplicity of this, instead of the hodgepodge garbage we’ve seen of recent.

New Gatorade joint

This is the new Gatorade joint… it looks like they tried to go a little bit Nike in this new add. I’m feeling it… what are your thoughts?

Tinker Hatfield Interview

You might not know who this cat is, but Tinker Hatfield has affected your life for sure. He is the man behind a lot of Nike Kicks, most notably a lot of AJ’s. Here is an exclusive interview he gave Complex magazine. Its a good read and compliments that Inside Nike special on CNBC the other day.

Inside Nike

This should be pretty good, its a look inside Nike, the greatest company in the world in my mind. A CNBC original documentary “Swoosh! Inside Nike” which will premiere on Tuesday, February 12th at 10PM and 1AM ET, pre-empting “The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch.” The show repeats on Monday, February 18th at 9PM & 12AM ET and Sunday, February 24th at 10PM ET. This should be good, if only for the interviews and seeing Phil Knight in HiDef, that should be interesting.
