RIP my brother… as more and more evidence comes out about this the more confusing it gets. Here’s what we know, he was an insomniac, there were pills involved, he may or may not have done drugs with Naomi Campbell, he may or may not have been warned by Jack, he may or may not have been disowned by Mel Gibson. Two things we do know, he was a great actor, and his pimp game was real strong. Apparently he was dating putting up the dating game numbers with the best of them. Here the list we know about… Mary-Kate Olsen: “just friends.” Allegedly he was seeing model Gemma Ward and Helena Christensen, a friend who was on the way to see him before learning of his death. and his Ex-girlfriends include Naomi Watts and his baby mama Michelle Williams. The ladies in order below. Damn.
RIP Bobby Fischer
Chess champion Bobby Fischer passed away today of kidney failure. That’s unfortunate. Bobby Fischer the last great American chess champion who had been in exile for years based on some political issues, was an American chess champion at 14, a grand master at 15, and he defeated the Soviet world champion at age 28. To test himself and his chess playing ability, Bobby would set up exhibitions and play upwards of 15 chess games simultaneously. He defeated computers. The man was a genius and I got hip to him after watching the movie Searching For Bobby Fischer. Great movie, great cast, and Bobby was a great man. Read up on him, learn about a very interesting cat; he had some demons and at times got a little off the hook, but there is no denying his genius.
RIP Evel
Evel Knievel dies today at the age of 69. His daredevil career began in 1965 when he formed a troupe called Evel Knievel’s Motorcycle Daredevils, a touring show in which he performed stunts such as riding through fire walls, jumping over live rattlesnakes and mountain lions and being towed at 200 mph behind dragster race cars. I can even remember watching him on the Wide World of Sports wanting my own jumpsuit and motorcycle to do crazy shit on, and apparently i wasn’t the only cat either:
I’m glad they squashed their beef and made up though:
